Google Rating: 4.7

Address: 3719 Walnut St, Denver, CO 80205

Web: https://www.blackshirtbrewingco.com

About:

Black Shirt Brewing Co. was founded in 1999 and opened to the public in 2012. As the old adage goes, “good things take time.” Since our opening, we’ve collected many awards and accolades for the quality of our beer, our ambiance, and our customer service (you can check those out here). Many years ago, we became fascinated with the art and science of fermentation and the social aspect of sharing what we made with our community. None of us had never operated a commercial brewery before but we jumped into our journey with both feet—we read every book we could get our hands on, studied every article, and got to work. It’s been said that you can do anything you put your mind to, and we set out to prove that to ourselves.

Google Rating: 4.6

Address: 1695 Platte St, Denver, CO 80202

Web: http://denverbeerco.com

About:

Denver Beer Co. was born in our garages with a few batches of home brew and a love for the craft of brewing. Serving only premium artisan ales and lagers, we utilize fresh ingredients and embrace both innovative and old world styles of beer. Similar to a farmer’s table, our beer selections change with the seasons. By brewing in small batches, we can ensure that a few old favorites are always on tap, but new goodies greet visitors each month.

Our brewery is founded on passion for high quality, flavorfully crafted beer and the belief that the best pints are those shared with good company. Drawing inspiration from beer gardens of Bavaria, we designed Denver Beer Co. to be a place where new and old friends can share a table and pint out of doors.

It is unquestionably the best place to experience the variety of beer Declaration makes. Here, our friends can enjoy all three series we produce but is the only place to try the ExperiMental Series, which includes many of our barrel aged, sour and bigger beers.

Presently, Declaration distributes throughout Colorado and in parts of Wyoming with 2017 slated for significant development of both states. New states are presently under consideration as well with a number more slated to come online within the next two years. The Signature Series of beers are Declarations most widely distributed, available on draft and in cans almost everywhere it is sold. Our Seasonal and Specialty series can be more difficult to find and is only available in draft at select retailers. Check out our Beer Beacon to find out what is available near you!

Strong affiliations in the Snowsports world are not unique in the craft beer world, but, Declaration is unique in being a member of Snowsports Industries of America (SIA). We have developed a team of athletes we call the Declaration Diplomat Corps – and while the team is still under development with new Diplomats joining our corps regularly, we already have notables like Pat Milbery and Marc Frank Montoya. However, forthcoming Diplomats won’t always be athletes – new CAN-didates include artists, musicians, scientists and bad ass influencers! Here at Crazy Mountain, we believe that when your passion is your job, life is good. So why do anything else?

Our brewery’s founder, Kevin Selvy, followed his heart (and passion for craft brewing) and headed to the Rocky Mountains. In 2010, he established the Vail Valley’s first production brewery, with headquarters and a kickin’ Taproom in Edwards. In 2015, Crazy Mountain expanded its reach to Denver, which became our production headquarters and Taproom. With a prime location in downtown’s Baker Neighborhood, we offer a beautifully-remodeled tap room with 24 beers on draft and sports on TV, a clandestine speakeasy available for private buyouts, and (of course) a view of the ever-present snow-capped mountains in the near distance.

The adventurous mountain lifestyle carries over into everything we do — because our beer pairs best with adrenaline. Crazy Mountain brews craft beer with only the finest of ingredients, yielding the best tasting, crowd-pleasing ales and lagers.

Each of our six-pack carriers features a character who’s a particular breed of Crazy with a story to tell. So don’t forget to bring a case of Crazy on your next adventure to inspire your next story. Available in cans, bottles, and on draft in 22 states across the U.S. — and in 9 other countries around the world — it’s easy to enjoy Crazy Mountain wherever you are. And wherever you go.

Let’s get Crazy.
